In terms of overall organization, this book is reasonable. However, in many sections, the textbook seems to lack the desired depth to be helpful even as an introductory one, while some others sections appear unnecessarily long and detailed. Because right now on the market, there does not appear to be another textbook that is much better than this, therefore, as a first introductory textbook to students without any background, maybe it is OK.
