I never put spoilers in my reviews.I feel the need, again, to criticize Penguin Books for their inattention to detail. An established publishing House should know better, shame on you! While, at least the misspelling and incorrect verbiage are not so bad this time, the formatting is atrocious; again, shame.That said, wonderful books by one of my favorite author's and worth dealing with Penguin's inattention.It's such an experience to read all 4 books in the series one after another like this. As usual, Ms. Roberts tells her tale masterfully. Her characters are fully fleshed and distinct, including the secondary and even tertiary ones. She builds a complete picture complete with tiny details that make the story come alive in 3-D. You can't help but to get drawn in and care about these people; it's almost magical.Read. Laugh. Cry. Be uplifted. Simply, enjoy.

This series is very enjoyable, and the narrator does a great job. I do think the insistence on sharing extremely intimate details among the four friends, and refusing to allow each other time to process difficult events before discussing and analyzing with the others, to be a little off putting. The four friends run a wedding planning business, so the constant wedding planning details are to be expected, but it does remind me how much the trivial emphasis on having a "fun" and crazy expensive wedding instead of planning for a marriage is a little pathetic to watch (especially for people who thinks it gives them license to be a bridezilla - anyone who is stupid enough to actually marry someone who acts like that while planning for a wedding has fully been warned about the true character of the person they are marrying). And at least two of the female leads have arguments with other characters in which they dramatically insist on stating only their own point of view, storm off without listening to the other person (causing much unnecessary angst) or giving them a chance to clear up the misunderstanding, and then the book gets resolved within minutes. That kind of behavior is one of my biggest personal pet peeves, so it's a little frustrating - hence the four stars instead of five. Overall, these stories are entertaining, though, with good friendships and none of the ridiculous falling in love after two days without actually knowing the person - I really like how the long term friendships, realistic responsibilities, and work ethic are emphasized. The main characters are all likeable and have compelling stories - they seem like people we already know and like.

I read a lot, meaning thousands of great stories. I have read books from childhood, through my teens, adulthood and finally as a senior. Now that I an retired, reading is my happy time. I do a lot of other things as well, but my reading has always been my personal time. This series made me cry sad and happy tears that rolled down my face many times. Nora Roberts is a great storyteller and very detail oriented. I've read many of her books, but this series really touched me. If you are an avid reader, this book will not disappoint you. Enjoy!

I absolutely love this series! The concept behind the books is amazing! I love these four friends and their love interests. I find reading these books is like watching a favorite movie over and over - I continue to go back to them!Nora Roberts has created a quartet of friends that you want to know and be friends with. Though the stories are predictable they are lovely and draw you in from the beginning, holding you until the end.They are each different, but compliment one another beautifully! And the men - well, they are all swoon worthy in their own ways, but what makes them so lovable is their dedication not only to the women they are in love with, but the women they love!

This is such a great book, that I look forward to going back and reading these stories again like some that I already have, and I am impatient to read the rest of Nora Roberts' stories right now. Hot, Hot, Hot, love scenes, a well written, creative and intriguing story about family plus inventive, vivid characters, all on top of seriously wonderful love and romance. Each story is about one key person, usual in a family, or close group of friends, they are linked through intricate, messy links and it's almost like a movie you get the privilege of witnessing about these people's powerful, emotional, and often times painful journey towards falling in love. Roberts is one of my most favorite author's, and she doesn't disappoint in this series. Her unique style and classy, yet moving love scenes, paint a beautiful picture that leaves a person longing for something similar for themselves. All of that is combined into this fantastic series and make this book a "must-have"!!!! I didn't want to set it down....seriously!! Lol I was nodding off over my book on several different occasions. Worth the price and more to have a Nora Roberts book in your library collection!!!!!!

1) Rated 5★ Mackensie & Carter are so cute together as they fumble to a relationship. 2) Rated 5★ Emma & Jack prove that friends can turn into love and even with the misunderstandings, makes for lasting love! 3) Rated 5★ Laurel & Del makes perfect sense, and shows once again how long-time friends can make excellent lovers, and that there will *always* be more to learn about the other person! 4) Rated 5★ So happy for Parker and Malcolm! They were very opposite types, but just *work* together! I wasn't sure anyone would "get" Parker so well, outside "The Quartet"...but kuddos to Mal!

I enjoyed the Bride Quartet Series immensely. Nora Roberts writes so well in so any genres that she reminds me of Mozart. She is amazingly talented and prolific. I will say that there are several typos that need to be cleaned up, all of which seem like typesetting errors.
