this book was a great eye opener about how NVc can be integrated into existing models- in this case,existing organisational models. Hugely helpful as a resource is the list of organisational needs and the inventory/survey in the appendices-which I will definitely use. My organisation is a school so I will adapt these resources to schoollife- and the book has given me the courage to dare to do that. The case studies, personal stories, as always are the most powerful learning tool and the book contains MANY that illustrate so humanly our humaness. Thank you Marie foryour gift

I really like Marshall Rosenberg's work but found it difficult to use at work. This book addresses that very issue and has definitely fulfilled my need to have an easy and effective communication style in the workplace. Miyashiro also gives the reader a good background on domination-based vs collaborative-based management styles and why using NVC and IC will get you improved productivity and a happier work environment.If you're at all interested in deepening your understanding of and improving your ability to use NVC, consider this book.
