Overall, I think it is a nicely put together book. Well thought out and laid out. I am not a big fan of Juniper in general, but they do have some decent security products. This book helps to explain how they work and to configure them properly. Almost everything you need to configure an SRX is in there. Just remember, you cant learn everything from a book and practical experience is a good thing.

I use this book daily in my line of work. It's everything that I expected, because there was never a place where the SRX strategy was every explained in as thorough way.

This Book is Granular.The case studies are descriptive and leverage real world applicable scenarios.One note however is that i believe it is tailored for Network engineers that have some Security background and knowledge of Junos.This is a book i utilize alot. If you work on SRX's BUY IT !!!

I bought this book to help me further my knowledge of Junos.It simply delivers! I am very happy with the book.

Some chapters were better than others. Needs updating to better reflect the JNCIA and JNCIS security track. Needs more diagrams with better explanations related to JUNOS JNCIA/JNCIS security course content.

This book was exactly what I was looking for - an introduction to Juniper SRX hardware and a good overview of the pertinent features.
